Are you tired of feeling stressed and overwhelmed as a mom?
As a mom, you experience many emotions daily—love, joy, pride, stress, anxiety, and exhaustion. Being a mom is a fulfilling and rewarding experience, but it can also be challenging, overwhelming, and sometimes even isolating. You feel like you’re not doing enough or not doing things right, leading to self-doubt and guilt.
Finding Balance in Modern Motherhood
My name is kristina and I want to help you become a more mindful mom
As a survivor of childhood trauma, I was scared to have children because I didn’t want to hurt them like I had been hurt. I spent years healing before I decided I was ready to take on the challenge of motherhood. Yet, even years of healing couldn’t prepare me for what was to come. Being a mother has been one of the best learning experiences and also one of the hardest. I’m not perfect; I make mistakes. But, every day, I work on being a more mindful and present mother.
I have been studying Buddhist philosophy for almost a decade, which has been critical in my healing journey and as a mother.
cultivate a greater sense of inner peace and calm, even in the midst of chao.
As a mother, it's easy to feel
- Unsure if you are “doing things right”
- Short-tempered and angry
- Emotional and overwhelmed
- Worried constantly about how your reactions are impacting your kids
- Like you are failing your children
- You are not doing enough for them
- Like a hot mess
You are not alone
mindfulness is a game changer when it comes to being a mom
Yet, it doesn't come naturally.
As a mindful mom, you become more aware of your thoughts, emotions, and bodily sensations in the present moment. Practicing mindfulness allows you to create a greater sense of inner calm and stability regardless of what’s happening around you. You learn to live from the inside out and not the outside in.
This allows you to respond to your child’s needs with more patience, empathy, and compassion. You become more attuned to your child’s emotions and behavior, allowing you to respond in a supportive and nurturing way.
Being a mindful mom requires more than just good intentions. It takes the right tools and techniques to cultivate mindfulness and compassion in your daily life. Without these tools, staying present and attuned to your needs can be detailed in the chaos of modern motherhood.
Mindfulness is a powerful tool that can transform your parenting approach and help create a happier and more harmonious family life.
