Useful tips to Manifest Despite Your Imposter Syndrome

share:

Have you tried to manifest something yet it feels like a lost cause? Are you new to manifestation and have doubts about how it can benefit you? Either way, you’re in the right place.

I’ve been exploring manifestation for a couple of years now. I also have suffered from imposter syndrome for all of my life. The root of my challenges have been rooted in childhood trauma, which tends to be pretty common for high-achieving women. So when I began to learn about manifestation, I was excited about growing my spirituality because up until that point, my life had revolved around my career.

I struggled for a long time with manifestation because deep down I simply couldn't align my energy.

The word ‘manifestation’ simply refers to the transformation of an idea into reality. Psychologists define manifestation as bringing our thoughts, feelings, and beliefs into physical reality. Yet, even this definition of manifestation doesn’t truly get at the heart of what manifestation is.

Manifestation is not just a spiritual, woo-woo, concept. It’s backed by science and has been practiced in many forms around the world for centuries.

Have you ever prayed before? Prayer and manifestation are one in the same. It’s simply semantics. Furthermore, research shows that whatever our expectations are, they tend to be fulfilled. You may have heard of this as a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Manifestation is about tuning your energetic frequency to what you desire in life. Like tuning a radio dial to the station you want to receive so you can hear the music you love.

If you are struggling with anxiety, self-doubt, or feeling like a fraud, how can you align your energetic frequency?

It seems like a bit of a conundrum and let me tell you, I struggled with this for a while before I finally got into the swing of things. First and foremost, be patient with yourself and the process. Learning and refining a new skill takes time. Manifestation is no different.

As you journey towards self-healing, you may notice some habits holding you back. The same habits are preventing you from manifesting your heart’s desire. It’s easy to feel defeated and want to give up (trust me, I’ve wanted to give up plenty of times myself), but the key is to start small.

Do you know that the most effective way to grow any habit is to have small wins? Our brains love rewards and we thrive on feeling good about an outcome. Despite this, we often try to jump to the top of the mountain instead of taking small steps every day to get there. After that, we get frustrated when we haven’t reached the top of the mountain yet despite clearly not taking the necessary steps.

On your manifesting journey, it’s always important to start small.

How to Start Manifesting and Feeling Energetic Wins

  1. Get clear on what you want
  2. Ask the universe
  3. Release any attachment to any outcome
  4. Live as if it’s already true
  5. Trust the process
  6. Watch for the opportunities (action is key to manifesting)

TRY THIS:

Manifest a penny. When is the last time you saw a penny on the ground? It’s probably been awhile. So start small and ask the universe to show you a penny. See where those pennies start to pop up!

Sit with the energy. Do not rush through the feeling of gratitude when you receive what you asked for. The energy you feel when you have manifested your heart’s desire is the energy that will bring you more.

Be gracious to yourself. One of the most profound lessons I have learned on my journey is that we all grow at different rates. Many reasons, but unresolved trauma was the main one for me. Due to childhood abuse and becoming a widow at 24, I have PTSD and deep emotional wounds. You may have more difficulty aligning your energy when you have trauma. That’s why healing, self-care, and perseverance are so imperative. Don’t give up, I promise it’s possible.
